Reporters trying to work with Trump have their work cut out for them.

By reframing Trump’s incoherent, inaccurate ramblings as bland political copy, journalists are carrying water for the president

Finding a news source that attempts to report news in a proper context is difficult. That is why – if we take our consideration of news reports seriously – we are obligated to check sources and look for additional clarifications, confirmations or verifications.

“It’s these attempts by journalists to frame Trump’s words and actions as they would those of any world leader that give Trump an advantage.

No matter how many times he’s demonstrated that he’s unable to take the job of president seriously, without corruption or incompetence, reporters and editors continue to present his words and actions in a sanitized way, lacking the necessary context about his history of lies and wrongdoing.”

  1. I am so weary of the continous pandering, bloviating, and incompetence of this man. I can hardly stomach opening an article that mentions his name or the name of any member of the administration (or his party for that matter). We are in a dire situation now. Millions could get very sick and hundreds of thousands (or more) could die. We need informed, inspirational leadership perhaps more than we’ve needed it in generations. Instead we have this narcissistic boob that hasn’t a clue about human decency and leadership. We have gone from pathetic to utterly shameful in a very short time. All the while it appears that his base continues to approve of this hideous man. How repulsive and sad for all of us. The phrase “God help us all” has never held more meaning for me.
