This veteran did not serve so that THAT veteran from Arizona could willfully betray his country by ignoring the Constitution

– especially for the reasons he puts forth. It goes without saying that if McCain had won the presidency in any of his campaigns to do so … that victorious “Mr. President” would have been justifiably outraged if some other senator were to have made the same vow.

Although I respect his service and his unfortunate experience as a POW, McCain is not a veteran of whom I am proud:

“I promise you that we will be united against any Supreme Court nominee that Hillary Clinton, if she were president, would put up. I promise you,” McCain said Monday, according to CNN.

… which means of course that presidential candidate McCain in 2008 was not running for the good of the country … he and Mrs. Palin were running for the good of the party … and now it’s understandable that we can mention Constitutional obstructionist Mitch McConnell and Constitutional obstructionist John McCain in the same breath.
