I have been listening to this morning’s coronavirus briefing. After twenty minutes of the President repeatedly implying “It’s all about me!” the briefing then was pretty good and helpful – as lesser voices began speaking real wisdom without selling the self-aggrandizing snake oil of their Pa. .
President Trump defines the stereotype of the great hero in a big white hat riding to the rescue of the beleaguered settlers and homesteaders.
I’d call him Wild Bill Bellyache.
