… reporters from MSNBC, CNN, and CBS aired live spots from inside the apartment that belonged to the suspect in the San Bernardino shooting that took place on Wednesday.
That this broadcast moment could even occur and that apparently the majority of a national public audience would casually and routinely accept it as modern broadcast integrity is astounding … and embarrassing.

The NBC reporter also expressed wonder at finding a prayer rug in the apartment. “Now, here’s something interesting,” he exclaimed. “A prayer rug . . . I don’t know if this has been moved, but this should be facing Mecca.”
Also on the NBC stream: rearranging pillows in a baby’s crib, looking through children’s books, and picking up checks and zooming in on them.
